Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Salesperson role based in Jaipur. The Salesperson will welcome and engage customers in the boutique, understand their preferences, and guide them through the selection of fine jewellery pieces that match their style and occasion. Day-to-day responsibilities include presenting product features and craftsmanship, explaining pricing and customization options, managing invoicing and payments, and ensuring an excellent post-purchase experience. The role also involves maintaining product displays, monitoring stock levels, assisting with basic store administration, and collaborating with the team on local marketing and customer outreach initiatives. The Salesperson is expected to uphold brand standards, build long-term customer relationships, and contribute to sales growth targets.
Qualifications
- Strong customer service, client relationship building, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proven sales, upselling, and cross-selling abilities, preferably in luxury retail or jewellery.
- Product presentation, storytelling, and consultative selling skills to guide customers thoughtfully.
- Basic numeracy, billing, and inventory-handling skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Professional appearance, reliability, and the ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Fluency in English and Hindi; additional local languages are an advantage.
- Interest in jewellery, fashion, and Indian art and design traditions; prior experience in similar boutiques is a plus.
- Minimum high school education; a diploma or degree in business, retail, or related fields is beneficial.
