Role Description The Salesperson role at Linen Club Bareilly is a full-time, on-site position based at the store in Bareilly. The Salesperson is responsible for welcoming customers, understanding their needs, and providing product recommendations that align with Linen Club’s quality standards. Daily tasks include explaining fabric features and benefits, assisting with selection and fitting, and ensuring an excellent customer experience from entry to billing. The role also involves maintaining visual merchandising, keeping the store clean and organized, managing inventory on the shop floor, and supporting promotional activities. The Salesperson works closely with the store team to meet sales targets, handle basic billing and cash responsibilities, and uphold company policies and guidelines.
Qualifications
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage customers, listen actively, and build trust.
- Sales and retail skills, including product demonstration, upselling, cross-selling, and working towards daily and monthly sales targets.
- Basic communication skills in English and local language, with clear, professional spoken communication.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills for maintaining store presentation, managing stock on display, and supporting accurate billing.
- Ability to work on-site during retail hours, including weekends and holidays as required, and to collaborate effectively with team members.
- Prior experience in apparel or fabric retail is an advantage, especially with premium or branded products.
- Basic numerical skills and comfort using point-of-sale systems; willingness to learn store processes and brand guidelines.
- Minimum educational qualification of high school completion or equivalent; additional training in retail or sales is beneficial.
