Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Salesperson role based in Jaora. The Salesperson will be responsible for identifying and visiting potential and existing customers, including retailers, distributors, and institutional buyers, to promote Jaora Gold products. Daily tasks include explaining product features and benefits, negotiating prices and terms, processing orders, and ensuring timely follow-up on deliveries and payments. The role involves maintaining accurate sales records, preparing basic reports, and sharing market feedback with the management team. The Salesperson will also support promotional activities, build strong customer relationships, and work closely with the internal team to meet sales targets and improve market coverage.
Qualifications
- Strong sales and negotiation skills, with the ability to convert leads into long-term customers.
- Customer relationship management skills and the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Basic knowledge of FMCG or food products; prior experience in flour or grain products is an advantage.
- Ability to plan daily routes and manage time effectively for field visits and follow-ups.
- Comfortable maintaining simple sales records and using mobile or computer tools for reporting.
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, and able to work independently on-site in Jaora.
- Minimum high school or equivalent education; a degree or diploma in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- Local language proficiency and a valid means of local travel (e.g., two-wheeler) are beneficial.
