Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Salesperson role based in Ahmedabad. The Salesperson will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, visiting prospective and existing customers, and promoting the company’s automation and industrial products. Daily tasks include conducting product presentations and demonstrations, preparing quotations, negotiating pricing and terms, and following up on leads to close sales. The role also involves maintaining long-term customer relationships, coordinating with internal technical and operations teams to ensure timely delivery and support, and providing feedback from the market to help improve products and services. The Salesperson will track sales activities, maintain accurate records in the CRM or reporting tools, and work towards achieving individual and team sales targets.
Qualifications
- Strong sales, negotiation, and closing skills, with the ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
- Solid understanding of industrial automation products such as motors, drives, PLCs, sensors, gearboxes, and control panels, or a strong willingness to learn technical product details.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts in clear, customer-friendly language.
- Good organizational, planning, and time management skills, including the ability to manage multiple leads, visits, and follow-ups efficiently.
- Comfortable with on-site customer visits, field sales activities in and around Ahmedabad, and basic use of CRM or sales reporting tools.
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Business, or a related field is preferred; relevant sales experience in industrial or automation products is an advantage.
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, and able to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
