Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Salesperson role based at the Hyundai showroom in Jammu. The Salesperson will greet and engage customers, understand their needs, and recommend suitable Hyundai vehicles and financing options. Daily tasks include conducting product demonstrations and test drives, explaining features and benefits, preparing price quotations, and guiding customers through the sales and documentation process. The role involves maintaining an organized sales area, following up with leads, managing customer inquiries, and coordinating with the finance and service teams to ensure a smooth buying experience. The Salesperson will work to achieve individual and team sales targets while delivering courteous, professional customer service.
Qualifications
- Strong customer service, relationship-building, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Sales, negotiation, and closing skills, with the ability to work toward defined targets.
- Basic product knowledge of automobiles or a strong willingness and ability to learn quickly.
- Organizational, time management, and follow-up skills for handling multiple customers and leads.
- Comfort with basic computer use, CRM tools, and digital communication (email, messaging apps).
- Previous experience in automotive sales, retail sales, or customer-facing roles is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Jammu, including weekends and peak business hours as required.
- Minimum qualification of high school diploma; a bachelor’s degree in business or a related field is a plus.
- Proficiency in local languages and good spoken English to interact with a diverse customer base.
