Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Salesperson role located in Pune City. The Salesperson will be responsible for identifying and connecting with potential clients, maintaining and expanding relationships with existing customers, and achieving sales targets. Tasks include conducting product presentations, managing the sales pipeline, providing product-related support, and collaborating with internal teams to fulfill customer needs. The role also involves staying updated on industry trends and representing the company at relevant events or trade shows.
Qualifications
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Proven experience in sales, customer relationship management, and delivering sales targets
- Familiarity with biotechnological products such as molecular biology kits, PCR consumables, CRISPR tools, Antibodies, ELISA kits and related biochemicals
- Basic understanding of scientific concepts related to life sciences, clinical diagnostics, and pharmaceuticals
- Proficiency in using CRM software, Excel, and other sales-related tools
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and handle multiple responsibilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology, Life Sciences, or related field (Master’s degree is a plus)
- Prior experience in the biotechnology or healthcare sector is advantageous
- Willingness to travel within and around Pune as required
