Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Salesperson role based in Navi Mumbai. The Salesperson will be responsible for meeting prospective and existing customers, understanding their financial protection and investment needs, and recommending suitable ICICI Prudential Life insurance products. Day-to-day activities include generating and qualifying leads, presenting product features and benefits, explaining policy terms, preparing quotations, and assisting customers through the application and documentation process. The role also involves following up on leads, maintaining relationships with policyholders, helping with renewals and upsell opportunities, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. The Salesperson will work closely with the branch team to achieve individual and team sales targets while adhering to regulatory and company compliance standards.
Qualifications
- Strong sales, negotiation, and persuasion skills, with the ability to convert leads into long-term customers.
- Customer relationship management, including listening skills, empathy, and a service-oriented mindset.
- Good communication and presentation skills in English and local languages; ability to explain financial products clearly.
- Basic understanding of financial products, insurance concepts, and personal finance, or willingness to learn quickly.
- Goal-oriented approach with the ability to work with targets, manage time effectively, and handle field-based activities.
- Comfort with using digital tools, CRM systems, and mobile/online platforms for sales and documentation.
- Minimum educational qualification: bachelor’s degree in any discipline preferred; relevant sales experience in banking, financial services, or insurance is an advantage.
- Ethical, compliant, and professional conduct, with readiness to complete required regulatory certifications and company training.
