Role Overview

The Salesforce Technical Lead is responsible for leading all technical aspects of Salesforce project delivery. This role is hands-on and leadership-focused, combining custom development (Apex, Aura, LWC) with architectural design, team coordination, and solution delivery across Salesforce platforms and integrated systems.

The Technical Lead will split time approximately 50% hands-on development and 50% technical leadership, including coordinating development efforts, guiding best practices, and ensuring high-quality delivery throughout development, testing, and support phases.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to all technical aspects of Salesforce projects
• Support design, develop, and deploy custom Salesforce solutions using Apex, LWC, Aura, Flows, and Visualforce
• Manage new development initiatives and enhancements to existing Salesforce applications
• Gather and analyse system requirements, translate business needs into technical solutions, and define success metrics
• Own technical architecture, solution design, and documentation across components such as custom development, integrations, and data migration
• Ensure solutions meet business objectives, technical standards, performance expectations, and end-user requirements
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve system and integration issues
• Coordinate and mentor onshore and offshore development teams
• Estimate development effort, scope, and timelines for initiatives and enhancements
• Create and maintain development, deployment, and integration plans
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to maximize Salesforce platform capabilities
• Ensure high customer satisfaction through timely delivery of high-quality solutions
• Strictly adhere to the hybrid working model and ensure it is consistently adopted by all team members.
  
  

Required Knowledge And Experience

• Strong experience in Salesforce custom development including Apex, Aura, LWC, Flows etc
• Experience with one or more Salesforce Clouds (Sales, Service, Experience, or others preferred)
• Experience designing and implementing integrations with external systems
• Broader programming technologies such as HTML, XML, JSON, jQuery, SOAP, AJAX, JavaScript
• Strong analytical skills with ability to learn quickly
• Strong communication skills
  
  

Qualifications

• Salesforce Certifications (PD1 or PD2 preferred)
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering
• 2+ years of experience leading or mentoring technical teams
• 6+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience
