About the Role:
This is a full-time on-site role for a Salesforce Technical Lead located in Chennai. As a Salesforce Technical Lead, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership and guidance in the design, development, and implementation of Salesforce solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, create technical designs, and ensure the successful delivery of Salesforce projects. Additionally, you will provide support and mentorship to the development team, conduct code reviews, and assist with troubleshooting and issue resolution.
Responsibilities
- Designing and developing custom solutions using Salesforce platform technologies such as Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Aura and Lightning web components.
- Configuring and customizing Salesforce features, including workflow rules, validation rules, process builder, Flows and custom objects.
- Complete Data Migration, Security and Maintenance.
- Developing and implementing integrations between Salesforce and other systems using SOAP/REST services.
- Participating in requirements gathering and analysis with business stakeholders and translating business needs into technical solutions.
- Writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code and following best practices for development and deployment.
- Creating and maintaining technical documentation, such as design documents, test plans, and user guides.
- Troubleshooting and resolving issues in Salesforce solutions, including identifying and resolving bugs, performance issues, and data quality issues.
- Collaborating with other developers, business analysts, and project managers to ensure successful delivery of projects.
- Conduct research into clients’ use of Salesforce, producing a report of findings with recommended steps and a roadmap for Salesforce solutions.
- Review solutions and recommend improvements.
- Ensure success and acceptance criteria are defined for each story.
- Describe and illustrate designs with appropriate justifications.
- Ensure documentation of the steps for testing.
- Collaborative project and workstream planning.
- Guide the internal team for any technical help (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, B2B, CPQ, Experience Cloud).
- Review solutions and recommend improvements.
Qualifications
- Over all 8 years of experience in Salesforce and at least 5 years of leading the team and delivering Salesforce projects.
- Excellent communication skills, written, verbal, and interactive skills.
- Minimum Salesforce certified:
- SFDC Administrator
- Salesforce Developer 1 & 2
- Sales Cloud Consultant
- Service Cloud Consultant
- Platform App Builder
Required Skills
- In depth and hands on experience with SFDC platform.
- A self-starter, experienced in leading projects or delivery work streams.
- Ability to demonstrate concepts visually and in writing in a way that enables stakeholders to decide with confidence.
- A strategic approach to solution design, with proven ability to develop and execute tactical plans to support the strategy.
- Excellent ability to coach, motivate and direct work tasks to a multi-disciplinary team of Salesforce professionals.
Preferred Skills
- Bachelor’s / Postgraduate degree or professional qualification in Computer Science.
- Salesforce Designer certifications.
- Salesforce Architecture certifications.
- Active in the Salesforce community.
