Role Purpose:
We are hiring a Technical Architect with deep telecommunications domain expertise to own our Communications Cloud and Salesforce Industries engagements. You will be the senior technical authority translating telco business processes (order-to-activate, product catalog, provisioning, fulfilment) into robust, standards-aligned Salesforce architecture, and setting the technical bar for offshore delivery teams. This is a hands-on architecture role, not a pure governance seat: you will design, prove patterns in code where needed, review, and mentor.
What You’ll Do:
- Own end-to-end solution architecture for Communications Cloud / Salesforce Industries implementations, from discovery through delivery.
- Design and govern the Enterprise Product Catalog (EPC), CPQ, Communications Order Management (COM), and Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM).
- Architect OmniStudio solutions (OmniScript, FlexCards, DataRaptor, Integration Procedures) as the deterministic orchestration and data layer.
- Define integration architecture across MuleSoft and API-led connectivity, applying TM Forum Open APIs (for example TMF622 product ordering, TMF641 service ordering) where appropriate, and being explicit about where alignment is at the boundary versus end to end.
- Design fulfilment and provisioning flows that interface with OSS/BSS, inventory, and network activation platforms.
- Architect Field Service for installation and provisioning journeys where in scope.
- Set technical standards, data model, security model, and DevOps practice; lead design and code reviews.
- Run technical discovery with client architects and engineering leads; convert telco processes into architecture and estimates.
- Mentor onshore and offshore developers and grow the technical capability of the CoE.
- Support pre-sales and solutioning: effort shaping, architecture proposals, technical assurance.
What We're Looking For:
Must-haves:
- 10+ years in Salesforce delivery, with several years as an architect on Salesforce Industries / Communications Cloud (Vlocity) programmes.
- Deep OmniStudio expertise in production-scale builds.
- Strong telecommunications domain knowledge: OSS/BSS, order management, provisioning and activation, product catalog design.
- Integration architecture experience with MuleSoft or equivalent, plus REST/SOAP and event-driven patterns.
- Working knowledge of TM Forum frameworks (SID, eTOM, Open APIs) and honest judgment about where they apply.
- Core platform depth: Apex, Lightning Web Components, data modelling, governor limits, integration patterns.
- Proven experience leading distributed / offshore teams.
- Certifications: Communications Cloud Accredited Professional and OmniStudio Developer or Consultant, plus Application Architect or System Architect. CTA or active pursuit is a strong plus.
Desirable:
- MuleSoft certification (Integration Architect or Developer).
- Experience Cloud and Field Service architecture experience.
- Exposure to Data Cloud and Agentforce, with a view on where agentic AI fits on top of a well-orchestrated Industries platform.
- Multi-org or legacy-to-Lightning reimplementation experience.
- UK full-fibre (FTTP) telecom delivery experience.
Why you’ll love working here:
- You will be the technical anchor on complex telco Salesforce programmes, shaping a growing Centre of Excellence rather than slotting into a fixed one.
- High autonomy, direct client exposure, real architectural ownership.
- Grow continuously with opportunities to learn, lead, and shape your career.
- Thrive in a remote-first setup with regular co-working meetups.
- Flexible working hours
- Stay covered with a comprehensive health plan.
- Receive continuous learning and certification support to fuel your professional growth.
- Be part of a dynamic, collaborative team that celebrates ideas and innovation.
- Connect through social events and team gatherings, both virtual and in-person.
- 25 days of annual leave (and an extra day every 2 years!)
- And yes, have fun while learning - we truly mean it!
If you love Salesforce, leading, mentoring, solving problems, and being part of a team that's growing fast, this is the place for you.
Hop on board, and let’s build something amazing together.
