Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role
Position Description & Responsibilities :
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Salesforce Solution Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 8 to 10 years of extensive experience in the Salesforce ecosystem, with deep technical expertise in custom development (Apex), quoting processes (Salesforce CPQ), and industry-specific solutions (Salesforce Industries / Vlocity). In this role, you will be responsible for translating complex business requirements into scalable, high-performing technical solutions. You will lead the design and architecture of Salesforce implementations, ensuring alignment with best practices while collaborating closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and development teams.
Must Have Skills :
- Solution Architecture & Design: Lead the end-to-end design of complex Salesforce applications, creating robust architectural blueprints, technical design documents (TDD), and data models that align with enterprise architecture standards.
- CPQ Implementation: Architect and implement scalable Configure, Price, and Quote (CPQ) solutions. Design complex pricing rules, product bundles, discount schedules, and advanced approval workflows.
- Vlocity / Salesforce Industries Development: Design and develop industry-specific solutions utilizing Vlocity components, including OmniScripts, DataRaptors, Integration Procedures, and FlexCards (OmniStudio).
- Custom Customization & Coding: Write clean, efficient, and scalable code using Apex (Triggers, Batch classes, Controllers), Lightning Web Components (LWC), and SOQL/SOSL when declarative tools are insufficient.
- Integration & Security: Design secure and scalable integration architectures between Salesforce and external enterprise systems using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware (e.g., MuleSoft), and platform events.
- Agile Leadership & Mentorship: Act as the technical lead within an Agile framework. Mentor junior developers, conduct rigorous code/architecture reviews, and enforce Salesforce development best practices.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and clients to gather requirements, provide technical feasibility assessments, and present solution options.

Salesforce Solution Designer
Job Description
Required Qualifications
- Experience: 8 to 10 years of progressive IT experience, with at least 6+ years strictly focused on Salesforce platform architecture, design, and development.
- Core Salesforce Expertise: Proven proficiency in Salesforce custom development (Apex, LWC, Visualforce) and advanced declarative configuration (Flows, Custom Objects, Security Model).
- Salesforce CPQ: Hands-on experience designing and deploying Salesforce CPQ. Strong understanding of quote-to-cash processes, product catalog setup, and price dimensions.
- Vlocity Expertise: Deep knowledge of Salesforce Industries (Vlocity) architecture and OmniStudio tools.
- Integration Skills: Strong understanding of system integration patterns, OAuth, web services (REST/SOAP), and JSON/XML.
- Methodology: Extensive experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps tools (e.g., Copado, Jenkins), and version control (Git).
Preferred Certifications (A Plus):
- Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I & II
- Salesforce Certified CPQ Specialist
- Salesforce Certified OmniStudio Developer / Consultant
- Salesforce Certified Application Architect or System Architect
