Job Title: Salesforce Solution Architect – Healthcare Domain

Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Solution Architect with deep expertise in the healthcare domain to lead the design and implementation of a Bed Board Management solution on the Salesforce platform.
This role focuses on delivering a real-time patient flow and capacity management system integrated with EHR platforms (Epic, Cerner, Athena), helping healthcare providers improve operational efficiency, reduce patient wait times, and optimize bed utilization.
Key Responsibilities
1. Solution Architecture & Design
- Lead end-to-end architecture of Salesforce-based Bed Management solutions using Health Cloud, Experience Cloud, and OmniStudio
- Define scalable data models for:
- Patient Admissions, Transfers, Discharges (ADT)
- Bed inventory and room attributes
- Capacity status (occupied, available, cleaning, reserved)
- Design real-time dashboards for hospital operations (bed control, nursing, EVS, transport)
2. Healthcare Workflow Optimization
- Translate clinical workflows into Salesforce solutions:
- Admission & transfer processes
- Intelligent bed assignment (rule-based & AI-driven)
- EVS cleaning lifecycle
- Patient transport coordination
- Align system capabilities with KPIs:
- Length of Stay (LOS)
- Bed turnaround time
- ED boarding time
- Capacity utilization
3. Integration Architecture
- Architect integrations with EHR systems using:
- HL7 v2 (ADT messages – A01, A03, A08, A11)
- FHIR APIs (Patient, Encounter, Location, Bed)
- Implement event-driven architecture using middleware:
- MuleSoft / Boomi / Azure Integration Services
- Ensure real-time, bidirectional data synchronization
4. Platform Configuration & Customization
- Customize Salesforce platform using:
- Custom objects for bed & room management
- Lightning Components
- OmniStudio (FlexCards, OmniScripts)
- Flows for automation
- Follow Salesforce best practices and scalable design patterns
5. Data, Analytics & Reporting
- Build operational dashboards for:
- Real-time bed availability
- Bottleneck identification
- Enable predictive analytics for:
- Capacity forecasting
- Surge planning
- Integrate with Tableau, Snowflake, and CRM Analytics
6. Security & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and HITECH
- Implement role-based access control (RBAC)
- Establish audit trails and data governance standards
7. Stakeholder Engagement & Leadership
- Collaborate with:
- Clinical leadership (CMO, Nursing teams)
- Operations (Bed management, EVS, Patient access)
- IT & integration teams
- Lead architecture reviews and executive presentations
- Translate technical solutions into business outcomes
8. Delivery & Governance
- Support Agile delivery:
- Define epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Ensure quality through:
- Architecture governance
- Code reviews
- SIT & UAT testing
- Mitigate risks related to patient safety and system performance
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in enterprise solution architecture
- 5+ years of Salesforce experience
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- Salesforce Health Cloud
- OmniStudio / Vlocity
- Experience Cloud
- Deep knowledge of healthcare workflows (ADT, patient flow, bed management)
- Experience integrating EHR systems (Epic, Cerner, Athena)
- Strong understanding of HL7 & FHIR standards
- Experience in real-time/event-driven architecture
Certifications (Preferred)
- Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA)
- Application Architect / System Architect
- Health Cloud Accredited Professional

- Experience with AI-driven use cases:
