Role Description
We are seeking a Salesforce QA Tester for a full-time, client-onsite role based in Chennai — Brigade World Trade Center.
The Salesforce QA Tester will support the CRMI platform by ensuring quality, stability, and reliability across Salesforce applications and integrations. This role will be responsible for performing functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing for Salesforce modules, including Sales Cloud, Experience Cloud, and CRMI-related workflows.
Daily responsibilities include developing and executing test cases, validating features against user stories and business requirements, setting up test data, identifying and tracking defects using tools such as ADO or Jira, and collaborating closely with Developers, Business Analysts, Product Owners, and cross-functional teams to resolve issues before production deployment.
Qualifications
- Experience with functional testing, regression testing, integration testing, and test execution
- Proficiency in manual testing, QA methodologies, SDLC, and Agile practices
- Experience creating test cases, test scenarios, and test data based on user stories and business requirements
- Hands-on experience with defect tracking and test management tools such as ADO, Jira, or similar platforms
- Knowledge of API testing using Postman or similar tools
- Basic understanding of Salesforce objects, workflows, data models, and CRM processes
- Strong analytical and debugging skills to evaluate workflows and identify defects
- Attention to detail and ownership of quality deliverables
- Ability to collaborate effectively with Developers, Business Analysts, Product Owners, and cross-functional teams
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 3–7 years of experience in QA testing
- 1–3 years of Salesforce QA experience preferred
- Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Experience Cloud, or CRMI modules is preferred
- Automation testing experience using Selenium or similar tools is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced Agile environment
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
