The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience strictly in Salesforce testing. Candidates without dedicated Salesforce testing experience will not be considered. The role involves ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of Salesforce applications, including customizations, integrations, and end-to-end business workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute manual test cases and test scenarios based on project requirements
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing for Salesforce applications
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using Selenium (Java/TestNG preferred)
- Validate Salesforce features including workflows, validation rules, flows, and Apex triggers
- Conduct API testing using Postman or REST-based tools
- Identify, log, track, and report defects using JIRA or similar tools
- Collaborate with developers, admins, and product teams to resolve issues
- Analyze test results and ensure application quality and stability
- Participate in test planning, sprint activities, and release validations
Required Skills
- 2–4 years of total experience with a strict minimum of 2 years exclusively in Salesforce Testing (Mandatory)
- Strong experience in manual testing and basic automation testing
- Hands-on experience with:
- • Selenium
- • TestNG / JUnit
- • Postman (API Testing)
- Experience in functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing
- Good understanding of SDLC and STLC processes
- Experience with defect tracking tools such as JIRA or similar tools
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce Sales Cloud / Service Cloud
- Basic knowledge of SOQL and Salesforce data models
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Good communication and collaboration skills
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / IT or related field
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, Maven)
- Knowledge of BDD frameworks (Cucumber)
- Exposure to Salesforce Lightning testing
- Basic understanding of Apex and Salesforce architecture
- Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work in cross-functional teams
- Good documentation and reporting skills
