Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Salesforce QA Engineer with 3–4 years of experience in manual and automation testing. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Salesforce test automation, a solid understanding of Salesforce platforms, and the ability to work in an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
● Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Salesforce applications.
● Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
● Develop and maintain automated test scripts using automation tools and frameworks.
● Work on Salesforce test automation for end-to-end business processes.
● Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
● Identify, log, and track defects using defect management tools.
● Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
● Ensure data integrity and validate Salesforce workflows, reports, dashboards, and integrations.
● Write and execute queries using SOQL for data validation and testing.
● Continuously improve QA processes, methodologies, and test automation strategies.
Required Skills
● 3 - 4 years of experience in QA/testing with exposure to Salesforce applications.
● Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and QA methodologies.
● Hands-on experience in Salesforce test automation (Selenium, TestNG, or similar tools).
● Good understanding of SOQL (Salesforce Object Query Language) for backend data validation.
● Hands-on experience working with Salesforce Cloud (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or similar).
● Experience in API testing using tools like Postman or REST Assured.
● Knowledge of Salesforce objects, workflows, validation rules, and integrations.
● Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git).
● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
● Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Good to Have
● Salesforce Admin Certification
● ISTQB Certification
● Experience with Salesforce Lightning and Apex testing
● Knowledge of performance testing tools
