Salesforce Test Analyst (Manual)

Role Purpose
We are seeking a Salesforce Test Analyst (Manual) to join our IT Quality Office. The role focuses on ensuring the quality and reliability of Salesforce implementations and enhancements through structured manual testing, aligned with the organization’s QA governance model.
You will work within a centralized Quality Office responsible for standardizing testing processes, tools, traceability, and reporting across platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Test Design & Execution
- Design, document, and maintain manual test cases in Xray (Jira) aligned with business and functional requirements.
- Execute System Integration Testing (SIT), End-to-End testing, and regression testing for Salesforce releases.
- Ensure full traceability between requirements, test cases, executions, and defects.
- Prepare and manage test data for execution.
- Validate functional flows, integrations, and data consistency within Salesforce.
Defect Management
- Log defects in Jira with clear details (steps, expected vs actual results, severity, priority, evidence).
- Participate in defect triage discussions with teams.
- Perform retesting and validate fixes before closure.
QA Governance & Reporting
- Maintain accurate test execution status in Xray.
- Ensure proper documentation of test evidence as per QA standards.
- Provide regular updates to the QA Lead.
- Support Go/No-Go decisions with clear testing insights and risk visibility.
Collaboration
- Work closely with Salesforce Consultants, Developers, and Business Stakeholders.
- Participate in requirement discussions and impact analysis.
- Contribute to effort estimation and test coverage planning.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in manual software testing.
- Hands-on experience in Salesforce testing (Sales Cloud / Service Cloud).
- Strong knowledge of test case design and structured testing methodologies.
- Experience in regression testing and defect lifecycle management.
- Hands-on experience with Jira and Xray (or similar tools).
- Ability to work in global and cross-functional teams.
Nice to Have
- Exposure to Tricentis Tosca.
- Experience with Salesforce integrations and APIs.
- Basic knowledge of SOQL.
- Understanding of automation concepts and QA best practices.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
