Job Description - Presales & Solutions Specialist – Salesforce
Role Overview
We are looking for a Presales & Solutions Specialist – Salesforce who will work closely with the sales, delivery, and product teams to design and present Salesforce-based solutions that address client business challenges.
The role involves understanding customer requirements, designing scalable Salesforce architectures, demonstrating platform capabilities, and supporting the sales cycle from opportunity qualification to solution proposal.
The ideal candidate combines functional consulting, solution design, and strong storytelling ability to articulate the value of Salesforce solutions to clients.
Key Responsibilities
1. Presales Support
- Partner with the sales team to understand client business requirements and pain points.
- Participate in discovery calls, workshops, and requirement-gathering sessions.
- Translate client needs into high-level Salesforce solution architectures.
- Support RFPs, RFIs, and proposal creation.
2. Solution Design
- Design Salesforce solutions leveraging core clouds including
- Salesforce Sales Cloud
- Salesforce Service Cloud
- Salesforce Marketing Cloud
- Salesforce Experience Cloud
- Create solution diagrams, architecture flows, and implementation approaches.
- Ensure proposed solutions align with Salesforce best practices and scalability requirements.
3. Client Demonstrations
- Conduct customized product demos and proof-of-concept presentations.
- Showcase how Salesforce can solve specific business problems.
- Build demo environments and industry-specific use cases.
4. Proposal & Deal Support
- Work with sales teams to shape winning proposals and value propositions.
- Provide solution estimates, implementation approach, and timelines.
- Contribute to pricing strategies and solution scope definition.
5. Stakeholder Collaboration
- Collaborate with delivery, engineering, and consulting teams to ensure solution feasibility.
- Support transition from presales to project delivery teams.
- Stay updated with Salesforce product roadmap and ecosystem tools.

Salesforce Expertise
- Strong understanding of the Salesforce platform including:
- Salesforce Platform
- CRM data model and automation capabilities
- Integrations and API architecture
- Workflow, flows, and process automation
Presales Capabilities
- Client discovery and requirement articulation
- Solution storytelling and presentations
- Proposal writing and solution documentation
- Ability to translate technical architecture into business value
Consulting Skills

Preferred Certifications
- Salesforce Certified Administrator

Experience
- 4–8 years of experience in Salesforce consulting, solutioning, or presales roles.
- Experience working with enterprise clients or consulting organizations preferred.
- Prior experience supporting sales cycles and enterprise proposals is a strong advantage.
