Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud Developer to design and deliver impactful solutions for nonprofit organizations. The role involves building scalable applications on Salesforce, leveraging Nonprofit Cloud capabilities to support fundraising, program management, donor engagement, and impact tracking.
Key Responsibilities
1. Solution Design & Development
- Design and develop solutions using Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud
- Customize applications using Apex, SOQL, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Aura
- Translate business requirements into scalable and maintainable technical solutions
- Ensure adherence to Salesforce best practices and coding standards
2. Nonprofit Cloud Implementation
- Configure and customize Nonprofit Cloud features such as donor management, fundraising, grants, and program tracking
- Work with data models like Contacts, Accounts, Households, Affiliations, and Relationships
- Implement automation for donation processing, campaign management, and engagement tracking
3. Integrations & Data Management
- Develop integrations with third-party platforms (payment gateways, marketing tools, ERP systems)
- Manage data migration, cleansing, and transformation
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and governance
4. Reporting & Analytics
- Build reports and dashboards for fundraising performance, donor insights, and program outcomes
- Support stakeholders with actionable insights and data-driven decision-making
5. Testing, Deployment & Support
- Write unit tests and maintain required code coverage
- Participate in CI/CD processes, release management, and deployments
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues
6. Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
- Work closely with nonprofit stakeholders, admins, and functional teams
- Understand organizational goals and translate them into technical solutions
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers
Must-Have Skills
- 6+ years of Salesforce development experience
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud (NPSP / NPC)
- Strong proficiency in Apex, SOQL, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura
- Good understanding of nonprofit data models (donors, households, campaigns)
- Experience with Salesforce automation tools (Flows, Process Builder)
- Knowledge of Salesforce security model and governor limits
Good to Have
- Salesforce certifications (Platform Developer I/II, Nonprofit Cloud Consultant)
- Experience with fundraising platforms and donor management systems
- Exposure to integrations (REST/SOAP APIs, middleware tools)
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Experience in working with global nonprofit organizations
