Job Profile: Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) Technical Lead
Location: Remote, India
Employment Type: 6 months Contract
Preferred experience: 7+ years
The Role
We are seeking a Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) Technical Lead who spearheads the design, development, and implementation of complex, scalable marketing automation solutions. They bridge business needs with technical delivery, overseeing code quality, leading integrations (API, CRM), and mentoring developers.
Responsibilities
Technical Leadership:
· Lead the design, development, and implementation of Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) solutions, including but not limited to Email Studio, Automation Studio, Journey Builder, and Content Builder.
· Oversee the integration of SFMC with Salesforce CRM and other third-party platforms to ensure seamless data flow and functionality.
· Provide technical guidance to developers and consultants on best practices, coding standards, and solution design.
Solution Design & Development:
· Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable SFMC solutions.
· Develop advanced SSJS, AMPscript, SQL queries, and API integrations to customize SFMC for client-specific needs.
· Build and optimize automations, journeys, and triggered sends for personalized customer engagement.
Team Management & Collaboration:
· Manage and mentor a team of developers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions within timelines.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align SFMC strategies with organizational goals.
· Act as a point of escalation for troubleshooting and resolving technical challenges.
Strategic Planning & Implementation:
· Architect end-to-end campaign solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer journey strategies.
· Evaluate and implement new SFMC features and updates to maximize the platform's capabilities.
· Provide strategic recommendations for improving customer engagement and optimizing marketing campaigns.
Must - Have Qualifications:
· 7+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
· Strong expertise in SSJS, AMPscript, SQL, and REST/SOAP API integrations.
· Proven experience in leading teams and managing projects.
· Solid understanding of customer data models, segmentation, and personalization.
