Role Overview
The Marketing Automation Specialist is responsible for administering, optimizing, and scaling our Marketing Cloud platform to support customer and associate engagement. This role serves as the primary Marketing Cloud administrator, partnering closely with Marketing, Product and Technology teams to ensure campaigns are executed efficiently and drive measurable business impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer Marketing Cloud - user access, data models, permissions, and system configuration.
- Build and deploy automated journeys, email campaigns, and triggered communications via Journey Builder and Automation Studio.
- Manage segmentation, data extensions, and dynamic content for personalized messaging.
- Monitor platform performance, ensure deliverability compliance, and maintain data hygiene.
- Build reports and dashboards using Marketing Cloud Intelligence.
- Document processes and governance standards for platform usage.
Qualifications
- 3–5+ years in marketing automation
- Hands-on Salesforce Marketing Cloud administration experience (certification preferred)
- Familiarity with SQL, AMPscript, and basic HTML/CSS
- Knowledge of email compliance standards (CAN-SPAM, GDPR)
- Salesforce CRM and Data Cloud experience preferred
