About The Role
Mirketa Inc. is seeking an experienced and highly respected Senior Director – Salesforce Engineering to lead and scale our Salesforce technical organization. This pivotal role involves overseeing technical delivery, architecture governance, talent development, and client-facing technical leadership across a diverse portfolio of Salesforce consulting engagements. The ideal candidate is a hands-on technical leader with extensive Salesforce expertise, proven experience managing large teams, and the ability to operate confidently within complex client and executive environments. Based in Noida, India, this role offers a hybrid work model requiring a minimum of three days per week in the office, with responsibilities extending to US time zones, including evening or night calls as needed. The Senior Director will be instrumental in shaping the technical vision, ensuring high-quality delivery, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the Salesforce engineering team.
Qualifications
The successful candidate should possess a minimum of 15+ years of overall industry experience, primarily within mid-sized consulting organizations, with exposure to large consulting environments. Proven experience managing teams of 25 or more professionals, with a preference for managing 40–60 team members, is essential. Candidates must have strong hands-on Salesforce development experience, including Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), integrations, and platform architecture. Salesforce Architect Certification (Application Architect, System Architect, or higher) is mandatory, demonstrating expertise in designing and governing enterprise-scale Salesforce solutions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are critical, along with experience working with US-based clients and distributed/global delivery teams. A demonstrated ability to lead technical initiatives, influence stakeholders, and foster a culture of technical excellence is required.
Responsibilities
Technical Leadership & Architecture
- Provide overall technical leadership for a team of 40–60 Salesforce professionals across multiple concurrent projects.
- Participate actively in client technical discussions, solution design workshops, and architecture reviews to ensure alignment with best practices and business objectives.
- Create, review, and approve technical architecture documents, solution designs, and integration strategies to maintain consistency and quality.
- Lead an Architecture Governance Forum to oversee scalability, security, and adherence to Salesforce best practices across projects.
- Serve as the final escalation point for complex technical challenges, including hands-on troubleshooting and code-level guidance when necessary.
- Define, implement, and enforce Salesforce development standards, coding guidelines, and architectural principles.
Delivery & Governance
- Ensure high-quality, predictable delivery across multiple Salesforce programs through effective technical governance.
- Collaborate with Delivery, PMO, and Client Leadership teams to align technical solutions with overarching business goals.
- Support RFP and proposal responses by providing solution architecture, effort estimation, and technical narratives.
- Take on billable responsibilities on client projects to maintain technical relevance and engagement.
People Management & Talent Development
- Manage and mentor senior architects, technical leads, and engineering managers, fostering a culture of growth and excellence.
- Own hiring, onboarding, and ongoing development of Salesforce technical talent to build a high-performing team.
- Develop career paths, coaching plans, and succession strategies to ensure continuous talent growth.
- Drive performance management initiatives, encourage skill development, and promote Salesforce certifications and technical excellence.
Client & Stakeholder Engagement
- Act as a trusted technical advisor to US-based clients, participating in evening or night calls and meetings as required.
- Communicate complex technical concepts clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Presales, and Executive Leadership teams to support growth initiatives and strategic planning.
