Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and experienced Salesforce Developer to join our dynamic team at Hitachi, Ltd. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing innovative Salesforce solutions that meet the evolving needs of our business. You will play a crucial part in enhancing our CRM capabilities and contributing to our digital transformation initiatives.
Job Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy custom Salesforce solutions including Apex, Visualforce pages, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and integrations with other systems.
- Work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and translate them into effective Salesforce solutions.
- Perform configuration changes, including but not limited to, creating custom objects, fields, workflows, process builders, and validation rules.
- Develop and maintain integrations between Salesforce and other internal and external systems using various APIs (REST, SOAP), middleware, and integration platforms.
- Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including design specifications, development guides, and test plans.
- Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices, coding standards, and security guidelines.
- Troubleshoot and debug Salesforce applications, identifying and resolving issues in a timely manner.
- Stay up-to-date with new Salesforce releases and features, recommending and implementing enhancements where appropriate.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including administrators, project managers, and quality assurance testers, to deliver high-quality solutions.
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience as a Salesforce Developer.
- Proven expertise in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Salesforce APIs.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities and limitations, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Community Cloud.
- Experience with Salesforce configuration, including custom objects, fields, workflows, process builders, and validation rules.
- Proficiency in SOQL and SOSL.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Salesforce Developer Certification (Platform Developer I required; Platform Developer II preferred).
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience with integration platforms or middleware (e.g., Mulesoft, Dell Boomi) is a plus.
