General Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related field.

3-5+ years of experience in Salesforce development and customization.

Strong expertise in Salesforce Service Cloud (as it is essential for Customer Service

Centers).

Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions

within Salesforce.

Technical Skills Required

Salesforce Development & Customization

 Proficiency in Apex (Triggers, Classes, Batch Apex, Future Methods)

 Strong knowledge of Visualforce & Lightning Web Components (LWC)

 Experience with SOQL (Salesforce Object Query Language) & SOSL

 Hands-on experience in Flows, Process Builder, Validation Rules, and Workflow

Rules

 Expertise in Integrations with external systems using REST & SOAP APIs

Data Management & Configurations

 Experience with Data Migration, Import, and Export

 Knowledge of ETL tools like Data Loader, Talend, Mulesoft

 Ability to optimize Salesforce database performance & data security

Security & Access Control

 Strong experience in Profiles, Permission Sets, Sharing Rules, and Role

Hierarchies

 Configuring Field-Level Security & Object Permissions

Skills Required for Customer Service Centers (Service Cloud Specific)

 Expertise in Omni-Channel Routing & Case Management

 Experience with Knowledge Base, Live Chat, and Chatbots

 Ability to integrate Salesforce with telephony systems (CTI Integration)

 Utilize Einstein AI & Analytics for Service Cloud to enhance customer

experience

Recommended Certifications

 Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I (Required)

 Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II (Preferred)

 Salesforce Certified Service Cloud Consultant (Highly valuable for Service
