Role Description The Salesforce Developer Intern role is a full-time remote position focused on supporting the design, development, and maintenance of Salesforce solutions for clients. Day-to-day tasks include assisting with building and customizing Salesforce components, contributing to Lightning Web Components and Visualforce page development, and supporting configuration and administration activities under the guidance of senior team members. The intern will help with debugging, testing, and documenting Salesforce functionalities, while learning best practices in multi-cloud Salesforce implementations. Collaboration with consultants, developers, and administrators to understand business requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and ensure smooth delivery will be a key part of the role.
Qualifications
- Foundational skills in Salesforce.com Development, including Apex programming and working with Salesforce.com platform features.
- Ability to work with Visualforce Pages for custom user interfaces and page layouts within Salesforce.
- Knowledge of Lightning Web Components for modern, component-based Salesforce application development.
- Basic experience in Salesforce.com Administration, including user management, security settings, and configuration of standard objects.
- Familiarity with core Salesforce.com concepts such as objects, fields, workflows, validation rules, and reports.
- Pursuing or having completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Understanding of object-oriented programming concepts and web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is beneficial.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and a willingness to learn from feedback.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to collaborate in a remote, team-oriented environment.
- Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Administrator, Platform Developer I) are a plus but not required.
