Role Description
SME Finserv seeks a skilled Salesforce Developer for a full-time, on-site contract role (6–12 months) based in Ludhiana. The Salesforce Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing solutions on the Salesforce platform. This role includes creating and customizing Lightning Web Components, building Visualforce pages, managing Salesforce administration tasks, and maintaining seamless system functionality. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful solutions is a key part of the position.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and implement customized solutions within the Salesforce platform
- Develop scalable applications using Apex, Lightning Components, and Visualforce
- Build and maintain integrations between Salesforce and external systems using APIs
- Work closely with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing Salesforce applications
- Ensure best practices for security, performance, and maintainability
Required Skills & Experience- Strong hands-on experience in Salesforce application development
- Proficiency in Apex, SOQL, SOSL, and Lightning framework
- Solid experience with API integrations (REST/SOAP)
- Experience with third-party integrations and middleware tools
- Good understanding of Salesforce data model and architecture
- Ability to write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Salesforce.com Development, including proficiency in Apex and working with the Salesforce platform
- Experience in developing and customizing Lightning Web Components
- Ability to build and manage Visualforce Pages
- Skilled in Salesforce.com Administration, including system configuration and user management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred)
- Experience working within the financial or fintech sector is a plus
- Salesforce certifications (e.g., Platform Developer I/II)
- Experience with CI/CD tools and deployment processes
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
