Job details:
Role: Salesforce Developer (Lightning Web Components)
Engagement: Contract-based
Experience: 5–8 years (Salesforce-focused)
Context
We are building a
rich, React-based visualization and optimization application that needs to be embedded within
Salesforce (CloudCraze / Commerce context).
The solution requires
deep UI integration,
secure data exchange, and
seamless interoperability between Salesforce, middleware services, and Azure-based ML systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop Lightning Web Components (LWC) to embed and host external React applications within Salesforce
- Implement secure UI embedding patterns (LWC, iFrame where applicable, Salesforce Canvas understanding)
- Enable bi-directional data flow between Salesforce and external systems: ○ Pull Salesforce data (POs, product, customer context)
- Push processed / optimized outputs back into Salesforce
- Work closely with backend teams to integrate Salesforce with middleware APIs and Azure-based ML services
- Handle authentication, authorization, and session context across Salesforce and external apps
- Assess and mitigate risks related to performance, security, and UX limitations in Salesforce-hosted UIs
- Support POC development, feasibility assessments, and technical walkthroughs for client discussions
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce Lightning Web Components (LWC)
- Solid understanding of Salesforce UI architecture, including:
○ LWC vs Canvas vs Visualforce (pros/cons)
- Experience integrating Salesforce with external web applications (React preferred)
- Knowledge of Salesforce APIs (REST, Apex controllers)
- Familiarity with Salesforce security model (OAuth, CSP, data access controls)
- Ability to work with middleware layers and cloud-based services (Azure preferred) Good to Have
- Prior experience with Commerce Cloud / CloudCraze
- Exposure to data-heavy or visualization-rich UIs inside Salesforce
- Understanding of enterprise integration patterns (Salesforce ↔ Middleware ↔ ML systems)
What Success Looks Like
- A working embedded React experience inside Salesforce via LWC
- Clean, secure data exchange between Salesforce and Azure-backed services
- Clear technical documentation and risk assessment for scale-up
