Core Responsibilities
• Design, build, and maintain scalable and secure Salesforce components (Apex classes, triggers, LWCs,
Flows, OmniScripts, Integration Procedures, DataRaptors, etc.).
• Implement custom business logic in support of mortgage application flows, credit assessments,
valuations, document generation, and omni-channel client interactions.
• Choose the right tool for the job — apply declarative tools (Flows, Process Builder) where appropriate,
and use Apex for more complex or high-performance scenarios.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects, BAs, and Admins to translate functional requirements into robust
technical solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to maintaining a high-quality codebase
(PMD scanning, Jest tests for LWCs, trigger frameworks, fflib patterns, bulkification best practices).
• Support deployments through GitLab CI/CD pipelines, ensuring smooth promotion of
metadata/packages across environments.
• Develop and maintain integrations with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, MuleSoft, or other
middleware, including authentication and error handling.
• Debug and resolve defects during SIT, UAT, and Production phases.
• Ensure secure designs, following Salesforce’s security model (role hierarchy, permission sets/groups,
sharing rules, FLS, profiles).
Required Skills & Experience
• 3–5 years Salesforce development experience, ideally in complex, multi-cloud or financial services
environments.
• Proficient in:
-Apex (triggers, batchable/queueable, bulkification, test classes, fflib patterns).
-Lightning Web Components, including asynchronous JavaScript (Promises / async–await) and Jest
testing.
-OmniStudio components (OmniScripts, DataRaptors, Integration Procedures).
-Salesforce Flows and declarative tools, with the ability to judge when to use declarative vs programmatic
solutions.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce’s security model: role hierarchies, permission sets and groups, sharing
rules, profiles, and field-level security.
• Solid grasp of data management and performance techniques,
including bulkification, Batch Apex, Bulk API, query optimization, and error handling at scale.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab CI, Copado) including automated testing, static code analysis
(PMD), multi-environment deployments, and packagebased development (SFP, unlocked packages).
• Demonstrated experience consuming and exposing REST and SOAP APIs, ideally with MuleSoft or similar
middleware, handling authentication (e.g., OAuth 2.0) and data transformation.
• Comfortable working in regulated industries with strong security, audit, and data governance
requirements.
Advantageous
• Financial Services Cloud (FSC) exposure.
• Insurance Cloud experience.
• MuleSoft or other ESB/orchestration experience.
• Experience with Omni-Channel routing
• Familiarity with Azure AD SSO and user provisioning flows in Salesforce.
• Understanding of AI tooling in developer workflows
• Prior experience in mortgage, lending, or insurance domains.
• Familiarity with Sales Engagement / High Velocity Sales
