Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer to help drive customer engagement through powerful marketing automation and CRM workflows. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and Experience Cloud, combined with practical experience in developing and optimizing customer engagement strategies. This role will be critical in enabling our marketing and sales teams to deliver personalized, impactful, and automated customer journeys across multiple channels.
Key Responsibilities:
Salesforce Marketing Cloud Development:
- Develop, configure, and optimize Marketing Cloud solutions to support customer journeys, automated marketing campaigns, and personalized communications.
- Work with marketing and business teams to design, implement, and maintain email campaigns, SMS, push notifications, and other customer touchpoints using Journey Builder, Email Studio, and Mobile Studio.
- Build and optimize Marketing Cloud Automation Studio workflows for lead nurturing, campaign triggers, and data management tasks.
- Develop and implement custom integrations between Marketing Cloud and other Salesforce clouds, including Sales Cloud and Experience Cloud, to provide a seamless customer experience.
CRM Workflows & Marketing Automation:
- Design and implement CRM workflows and automated processes within Sales Cloud to streamline sales processes and enhance lead-to-opportunity conversions.
- Use Automation Studio, Journey Builder, and Marketing Cloud Connect to automate workflows and ensure consistent customer engagement across email, social media, and web channels.
- Implement email personalization, dynamic content, and audience segmentation strategies to enhance marketing campaign effectiveness.
- Ensure automated workflows are optimized for efficiency, scalability, and performance, leveraging Salesforce's best practices.
Experience Cloud Development & Optimization:
- Develop and customize Experience Cloud solutions to create personalized portals and community experiences for customers and partners.
- Configure community templates and design custom pages using Experience Builder, integrating with Sales Cloud and Marketing Cloud to ensure a seamless user experience.
- Implement and customize features in Experience Cloud to facilitate customer collaboration, knowledge sharing, and personalized engagement.
Data Management & Reporting:
- Manage data integration between Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Sales Cloud, and other third-party applications to ensure consistent and accurate customer data.
- Use SQL, AMPscript, and SSJS (Server-Side JavaScript) to manipulate data and optimize customer interactions.
- Develop and implement custom reports and dashboards to track and measure the performance of marketing campaigns and customer engagement efforts.
- Analyze customer data and campaign performance to identify opportunities for optimization and enhancement.
Customer Engagement Strategies:
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop customer engagement strategies that drive retention, conversion, and customer satisfaction.
- Create customer journey maps to design and implement tailored experiences across digital channels (email, mobile, web, etc.).
- Leverage data-driven insights and Salesforce Einstein capabilities to personalize campaigns and deliver targeted content.
Integration & Customization:
- Work with cross-functional teams to integrate Salesforce Marketing Cloud with other third-party systems and platforms (e.g., CRM tools, external data sources, analytics platforms).
- Ensure seamless data flow and synchronization across Salesforce Clouds, including integrating Sales Cloud with Marketing Cloud for lead management and sales enablement.
- Leverage Salesforce's APIs and integration tools to connect with external systems and enhance the overall customer engagement ecosystem.
Testing, Deployment & Maintenance:
- Conduct thorough testing of all developed solutions, ensuring that marketing campaigns, automated workflows, and integrations are fully functional before deployment.
- Implement DevOps practices to streamline deployment processes and ensure smooth transitions between environments.
- Provide ongoing maintenance and optimization of Marketing Cloud environments, ensuring that campaigns run efficiently and are compliant with industry standards.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:
- Work closely with marketing, sales, and IT teams to gather requirements, prioritize tasks, and deliver effective Salesforce solutions.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate marketing needs into technical specifications and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and provide training to ensure effective platform adoption.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Marketing, or a related field.
- Certifications:
- Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer certification (required).
- Salesforce Certified Administrator (ADM 201) or Salesforce Developer (Platform Developer I) is a plus.
- Salesforce Sales Cloud or Experience Cloud certification is an advantage.
- Experience:
- 4+ years of experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Sales Cloud, and Experience Cloud development and customization.
- Hands-on experience with Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Email Studio, Mobile Studio, and Social Studio.
- Strong technical experience in Apex, AMPscript, SQL, and SSJS for Salesforce marketing automation and data manipulation.
- Familiarity with Salesforce integration tools (e.g., Marketing Cloud Connect, API integrations, Data Loader).
- Experience with CRM workflows, marketing automation, and customer engagement strategies.
Skills & Competencies:
- Expertise in developing and optimizing CRM workflows and marketing automation solutions.
- Proficiency in data management, audience segmentation, and data-driven marketing strategies.
- Solid understanding of Salesforce Clouds (Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Experience Cloud) and their integration capabilities.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, able to work with both technical and business teams.
- Ability to adapt to fast-changing business needs and provide innovative solutions.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Salesforce Einstein for AI-powered marketing insights and customer personalization.
- Knowledge of Salesforce Lightning Components and web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience with DevOps tools and processes to streamline deployments and development workflows.
