Salesforce Communications Cloud Senior Lead Developer / Technical Lead

TiffinCrane Recruiting hiring a Salesforce Communications Cloud Senior Lead Developer / Technical Lead for a multi-year BSS / OSS transformation program with one of our Tier-1 global telecom clients. This is a permanent role, deployed onsite at the client's Pune development center.
This is a hands-on lead role. You will own solution design and code quality for a Vlocity / OmniStudio delivery stream, mentor offshore developers, and partner with onshore architects, QA, DevOps, and BAs. It is not a pure people-manager position and it is not a pure architect chair role.
What you will do
- Lead solution design and technical decisions across OmniScripts, DataRaptors, Integration Procedures, FlexCards, and EPC / CPQ data models.
- Write and review production-grade Apex, Lightning Web Components, and Salesforce API integrations.
- Define and enforce development standards, code review practices, and CI / CD pipelines (Copado, Gearset, GitLab, Bitbucket, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps).
- Mentor a distributed team of Vlocity developers across onshore and offshore time zones.
- Coordinate delivery with onshore leadership, architecture, QA, and DevOps stakeholders.
- Drive integration design for telecom BSS / OSS systems including billing, charging, order management, and product catalog (TM Forum APIs a strong plus).
- Own release management and production readiness for your stream.
What we are looking for
- 8 or more years of Salesforce development experience (7 acceptable for clearly senior depth).
- 4 or more years hands-on with Salesforce Communications Cloud (Vlocity), including production OmniStudio work across all four components: OmniScripts, DataRaptors, Integration Procedures, FlexCards.
- Strong Apex, LWC, and Salesforce API / integration design background.
- Salesforce Service Cloud experience.
- Demonstrable track record leading distributed offshore / onshore Salesforce delivery teams.
- Telecom domain experience with BSS / OSS systems (billing, OM, charging, catalog).
- Hands-on CI / CD and DevOps practice on Salesforce (Copado, Gearset, GitLab, Bitbucket, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps).
- Large-scale enterprise transformation program exposure.
- Pune resident, or firm relocation commitment to Pune for onsite work.
- Open to a permanent full-time engagement.
Nice to have
- Salesforce Communications Cloud Certification.
- OmniStudio Consultant or OmniStudio Developer Certification.
- Salesforce Platform Developer I / II.
- Salesforce Service Cloud Consultant.
- TM Forum standards exposure (eTOM, SID, TAM, Open APIs) and production TMF API integration experience.
- Multi-telecom client portfolio (Telstra, Vodafone, AT&T, Verizon, BT, Telefonica, Orange, Telia, etc.).
- Architecture credentials (Sharing & Visibility Designer, Data Cloud Consultant, Application Architect track).
- Agentforce, Revenue Cloud Advanced, or Headless 360 exposure.

- Pure people-managers without recent Apex / OmniStudio depth.
- Candidates outside Pune with no firm relocation commitment.
- Profiles with under 4 years of hands-on Vlocity / Communications Cloud.
