Job Summary
We are looking for a Junior SFCC Developer with 3+ years of experience to join our development team. The candidate will work on developing, enhancing, and maintaining e-commerce applications using Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC), SFRA, JavaScript, ISML, HTML, CSS, and REST APIs.
The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in web development and a good understanding of SFCC development practices. You will work closely with senior developers, QA engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver quality and scalable solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance features on Salesforce Commerce Cloud under the guidance of senior developers.
- Work with SFRA templates, controllers, scripts, models, and cartridges.
- Develop and maintain UI components using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and ISML.
- Implement responsive and user-friendly front-end functionality.
- Support REST API and third-party integrations.
- Troubleshoot application issues and resolve functional and technical defects.
- Perform unit testing and support QA during testing and defect resolution.
- Participate in code reviews and follow established coding and development standards.
- Use Git for source control and follow standard branching and code review practices.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint activities.
- Collaborate with developers, QA, and other teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
- Follow SFCC security, coding, and development best practices.
Required Skills
- 3+ years of software/web development experience.
- Good understanding of Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC).
- Hands-on knowledge of SFRA and ISML.
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript.
- Good understanding of HTML5 and CSS3.
- Understanding of REST APIs and third-party integrations.
- Experience with Git/version control.
- Basic understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Good debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Strong analytical and learning abilities.
