We are looking for a remote Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) Operations Specialist to manage the day-to-day operational activities of our ECommerce platform. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth platform operations, support production activities, coordinate releases, monitor system health, and work closely with internal teams to maintain a stable and reliable online shopping experience.
This is a fully remote position. The candidate should be self-motivated, organized, and able to communicate effectively with distributed teams across different time zones.
Responsibilities:
- Perform daily operational support for the Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) platform
- Monitor website health, scheduled jobs, and production environments
- Execute operational tasks such as cache management, replication, and job monitoring
- Coordinate application deployments and release activities with development and QA teams
- Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues, escalating when necessary
- Support business users with product launches, promotions, and content publishing
- Monitor system alerts and respond promptly to operational incidents
- Track and manage support tickets using tools such as Jira or ServiceNow
- Maintain operational documentation, runbooks, and standard operating procedures
- Perform post-deployment validation and ensure successful release completion
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency through process improvements and automation
- Communicate regularly with remote team members and provide timely status updates
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience supporting Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC/B2C Commerce)
- Hands-on experience with SFCC Business Manager
- Understanding of replication, code deployment, and job scheduling in SFCC
- Experience with ticketing systems such as Jira or ServiceNow
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Git, and REST APIs is an advantage
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment with minimal supervision
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Experience supporting production ECommerce environments
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and release management processes
- Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools
- Understanding of the end-to-end ECommerce order lifecycle
