Job details:
Salesforce Architect – Financial Services Cloud Leading Financial Services Organisation | Mumbai | Work from Office | Full-Time
A leading financial services organisation is hiring a Salesforce Architect to own the design, architecture, and delivery of its Salesforce ecosystem across the lending lifecycle. This is the senior-most Salesforce technical authority within the organisation — the person who sets architectural standards, governs platform decisions, and ensures what gets built is scalable, secure, and compliant in a regulated lending environment.
If your Salesforce career has been built around genuine architecture ownership — not delivery participation, not technical leadership on someone else's blueprint — and if you have done this inside or for a lending business with real FSC depth, this role is worth your attention.
What the role owns:
- End-to-end Salesforce architecture across Financial Services Cloud, Sales Cloud, and Service Cloud — for lending workflows including origination, credit decisioning, collections, and customer lifecycle management
- Architectural standards, design patterns, and governance frameworks across all Salesforce initiatives
- Integration architecture between Salesforce and core banking systems, LOS, LMS, payment gateways, credit bureaus, and regulatory reporting tools — REST, SOAP, Platform Events, Change Data Capture, MuleSoft or equivalent middleware
- Salesforce data model design and governance — data quality, retention, archival, and regulatory compliance
- DevOps and release management strategy — SFDX, Copado, Gearset, CI/CD pipelines
- Build vs. buy decisions, AppExchange evaluation, and third-party vendor governance
- Technical oversight of development teams — architecture reviews, code reviews, governor limits, security model, bulkification standards
- Platform roadmap in partnership with business, product, and CTO/CIO-level stakeholders
What the technical depth looks like:
Salesforce FSC is your primary domain — you have architected and delivered on it, not just configured it. Apex, LWC, SOQL/SOSL, and declarative platform capabilities are fluent, not functional. You understand the Salesforce security model — profiles, permission sets, field-level security, sharing rules — well enough to govern it across a multi-team delivery programme. Integration patterns are second nature. You have presented architecture blueprints to senior leadership and owned the outcomes that followed.
What we're looking for:
- 10–12 years of overall IT experience with at least 6–8 years in Salesforce architecture and delivery
- Mandatory: hands-on BFSI domain experience — specifically in retail lending, home loans, LAP, or consumer finance — not generic FSI exposure
- Deep expertise in Salesforce Financial Services Cloud — architected and delivered, not peripherally involved
- Proven track record of owning large-scale, multi-cloud Salesforce programmes from architecture through production
- Salesforce Certified Application Architect or System Architect — mandatory
- Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) — preferred; candidates actively in progress will be considered
- Strong understanding of RBI regulations, data privacy obligations, and audit compliance requirements as they apply to platform architecture
This role is not for senior Salesforce developers who have assumed architectural responsibilities within a delivery team without formal architecture ownership. The accountability here is for platform strategy, governance, and technical authority — not implementation contribution.
