POSITION TITLE : Salesforce Agentforce Developer

ROLE OVERVIEW
We are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Agentforce Developer with deep Salesforce platform expertise and a focus on delivering AI-driven business outcomes. The ideal candidate will build scalable and efficient Salesforce solutions that integrate Agentforce Standard and Custom Agents with Salesforce Data Cloud to enable intelligent, data-driven automation.
This role emphasizes the practical application of predictive analytics, generative capabilities, and agent-based workflows to transform sales and service processes while maintaining strong platform governance and scalability.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop, integrate, and maintain Agentforce Standard and Custom Agents and Data Cloud-powered experiences including data ingestion, harmonization, and activation.
- Build and manage Flows, Apex classes, triggers, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce pages, and declarative configurations leveraging AI capabilities.
- Integrate AI-driven workflows to optimize processes and enhance decision-making across sales and service lifecycles.
- Participate in design reviews and provide input on technical architecture and solution design, incorporating AI technologies for scalable solutions.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Product Managers, Architects, and QA to refine user stories and deliver functional software with AI enhancements in iterative sprints.
- Ensure work quality through peer reviews, unit testing, functional testing, and adoption of AI-assisted code build and review tools for secure and optimized solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues including performance bottlenecks, integration failures, and AI-related errors, ensuring stable system operations.
- Maintain and enhance integrations with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, Platform Events, and middleware tools, incorporating AI automation.
- Document technical solutions, AI use cases, and integration workflows, maintaining a system knowledge base for team onboarding and support.
- Mentor junior developers including training on AI integration and best practices for implementing AI-driven workflows.
TECHNICAL SKILLS
- 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience (Sales Cloud & Service Cloud).
- Proficiency in Agentforce, Apex, Flows, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL, and SOSL.
- Experience with Salesforce Data Cloud (data ingestion, harmonization, activation).
- Familiarity with Salesforce integration patterns using REST/SOAP APIs, Platform Events, and middleware tools.
- Understanding of Salesforce security model: profiles, permission sets, and sharing rules.
- Knowledge of enterprise architecture principles and scalable design patterns including AI-based solutions.
- Experience with performance tuning and governor limit optimization.
SOFT SKILLS
- Enthusiasm for AI with a passion for learning and implementing AI solutions.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to break down complex technical challenges.
- Agile/Scrum experience in a collaborative team environment.
- Ability to mentor and guide junior developers.
EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

PREFERRED / GOOD TO HAVE
- Knowledge of agentic monitoring tools and performance optimization techniques using AI-powered analytics.
- Experience in Test-Driven Development (TDD) and left-shift quality concepts.
- Prior experience in an agile environment with a proven ability to deliver AI-enhanced features in iterative sprints.
- In-depth understanding of the technology landscape, staying current on trends in AI, machine learning, and other emerging technologies.
- Ability to align AI-driven development efforts with broader business objectives and organizational vision.
