Salesforce Agentforce Developer – Job Description
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Agentforce Developer to design, develop, and implement AI-powered autonomous agents within the Salesforce ecosystem. The role involves building intelligent agents that automate workflows, enhance customer interactions, and integrate with Salesforce applications such as Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, and Data Cloud.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop AI agents using Salesforce Agentforce.
Build and configure autonomous agents for customer service, sales support, and operational automation.
Integrate Agentforce with Salesforce Service Cloud, Salesforce Sales Cloud, and Salesforce Data Cloud.
Develop custom logic using Salesforce Apex, Lightning Web Components, and Salesforce Flow.
Configure AI prompts, actions, and automation for Agentforce agents.
Integrate external systems using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware tools.
Implement governance, security, and best practices for AI agent deployment.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to design AI-driven solutions.
Troubleshoot, optimize, and maintain agent performance.
Required Skills
3–8 years of Salesforce development experience.
Hands-on experience with Salesforce Platform development.
Strong knowledge of:
Apex
Lightning Web Components (LWC)
Salesforce Flow
Integration frameworks and APIs
Experience with AI-powered automation or conversational agents.
Understanding of prompt engineering and AI agent orchestration.
Familiarity with Salesforce security and data models.
Preferred Skills
Experience with Einstein AI capabilities.
Exposure to Generative AI applications in Salesforce.
Knowledge of Data Cloud integrations and real-time data processing.
Experience working in Agile environments.
Certifications (Preferred)
Salesforce Platform Developer I
Salesforce AI Associate
Salesforce Administrator
Nice to Have
Experience implementing AI copilots or autonomous digital agents
Exposure to LLM integrations or prompt frameworks
