About The Role
The Salesforce Administrator at Study Group plays a pivotal role in managing and optimizing our Salesforce ecosystem to support business objectives effectively. This position involves overseeing the administration of both Sales Cloud and Marketing Cloud environments, ensuring seamless integration and data consistency across platforms. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with Solution Architects, Business Analysts, Salesforce Developers, and other administrators to gather requirements, validate proposals, and implement solutions that enhance operational efficiency and marketing effectiveness.
Key responsibilities include managing user access, maintaining security protocols, automating processes using declarative tools like Flow, and designing multi-channel marketing campaigns utilizing Salesforce Marketing Cloud modules such as Journey Builder, Email Studio, and Automation Studio. The role also involves developing insightful reports and dashboards to monitor campaign performance and support strategic decision-making. Additionally, the Salesforce Administrator will handle deployment activities using Git and sandboxes, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure adherence to Salesforce best practices. The role requires a proactive approach to supporting business applications integrated with Salesforce, such as Formstack, Survey Monkey, SMS Magic, and RIO, along with maintaining comprehensive documentation for all processes and configurations.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess Salesforce certifications such as Platform Administrator and Platform Developer, with a preference for additional certifications like Platform Administrator II and Marketing Cloud certifications. They should have proven experience in standard Salesforce administrative functions, including user setup, permissions management, object and field configuration, and creating reports and dashboards. Familiarity with process automation tools, particularly Flow, is essential, along with hands-on experience with Marketing Cloud modules such as Journey Builder, Email Studio, and Content Builder.
Experience working with tools like Formstack and SMS Magic will be advantageous. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in Marketing Cloud's data management tools, including data extensions and Contact Builder, as well as experience integrating SFMC with Sales Cloud through Marketing Cloud Connect. A working knowledge of email development languages such as HTML, CSS, AMPscript, and SQL is required. Strong problem-solving skills are necessary to troubleshoot technical and data-related issues efficiently, ensuring the smooth operation of the Salesforce environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform core administration tasks across the Salesforce ecosystem, including user management, security maintenance, and custom configurations using declarative tools like Flow.
- Design, build, and deploy multi-channel marketing campaigns and customer journeys, primarily utilizing SFMC tools such as Journey Builder, Email Studio, and Automation Studio.
- Manage data synchronization between Sales Cloud and Marketing Cloud to ensure data integrity and support a unified customer view. Create and manage data extensions for segmentation and targeted marketing efforts.
- Develop and maintain reports and dashboards in Salesforce and Marketing Cloud to monitor campaign effectiveness, track key metrics, and generate actionable insights for stakeholders.
- Coordinate deployment activities and conduct testing using Git, sandboxes, and production environments to validate integrations and functionality.
- Collaborate with other Salesforce Administrators to validate business requirements, considering security, scalability, and platform limits.
- Work closely with business teams to translate requirements into high-quality, scalable solutions that meet organizational needs.
- Integrate and administer third-party business applications such as Formstack, Survey Monkey, SMS Magic, and RIO within Salesforce.
- Manage support cases with Salesforce Support, monitor support tickets, and resolve technical issues promptly.
- Assist with Salesforce-related Service Desk tickets submitted by users, ensuring timely resolution and communication.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of configurations, processes, and best practices to support ongoing system health and compliance.
- Coordinate with IT and development teams to facilitate system integrations across various business applications.
- Support other Salesforce Administrators and Developers to foster a collaborative and efficient working environment.
