With a strong focus on digital transformation, our company specializes in delivering tailored Salesforce implementations, integrations, and optimization services to a diverse range of industries. Our commitment to excellence, innovation, and customer satisfaction has established us as a trusted partner for businesses seeking to leverage the full potential of their CRM and cloud platforms. At Summit Consulting Services, we foster a collaborative and dynamic work environment that encourages continuous learning, professional growth, and impactful contributions.
About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Administrator with deep expertise in CPQ and a forward-looking passion for AI within the Salesforce ecosystem. You will be the go-to platform expert responsible for managing, configuring, and evolving our Salesforce instance — with a heavy focus on CPQ/Revenue Cloud to streamline quote-to-cash processes. You will also champion adoption of Salesforce capabilities to make teams smarter and more productive.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess 4–5 years of experience in Salesforce administration, with at least 3 years dedicated to managing Salesforce as a platform administrator. A minimum of 2 years hands-on experience with Salesforce CPQ (Steelbrick/Revenue Cloud) in a production environment is essential. Candidates should have experience implementing or managing at least one Salesforce AI feature, such as Einstein, Agentforce, Prompt Builder, or Data Cloud. A bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience, is required. Certifications such as Salesforce Certified Administrator (mandatory), Advanced Administrator, Salesforce Certified CPQ Specialist, and Salesforce AI certifications are highly preferred.
Responsibilities
Platform Administration
- Serve as the primary Salesforce Administrator, managing user accounts, security protocols (profiles, permission sets, sharing rules, OWD), and maintaining overall platform health.
- Configure and optimize Salesforce modules including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud to meet evolving business needs.
- Design and maintain automation and customization through Flows, validation rules, custom objects and fields, page layouts, record types, and Lightning app configurations.
- Manage sandbox environments, oversee release cycles, and execute change sets and deployments following DevOps best practices.
- Handle data management tasks such as imports, deduplication, archival, and ongoing data quality monitoring.
- Administer AppExchange packages, including managed and unmanaged packages, and integrate third-party solutions seamlessly.
- Provide tier-2/3 support for Salesforce-related issues, manage case queues, and ensure adherence to SLAs.
CPQ / Quote-to-Cash
- Own the end-to-end administration of Salesforce CPQ (Revenue Cloud), including product catalog management, price books, pricing rules, discount schedules, bundles, and quote templates.
- Configure and optimize complex CPQ approval workflows, advanced approval chains, and guided selling processes to enhance sales efficiency.
- Develop and refine quote line editor configurations, product selection filters, and dynamic pricing models, including subscriptions, one-time charges, and usage-based billing.
- Manage quote document generation, incorporating advanced merge fields, custom templates, and e-signature integrations such as DocuSign and Adobe Sign.
- Ensure seamless integration of CPQ with billing systems like Salesforce Billing, Zuora, or Chargebee, and align downstream finance processes.
- Conduct regular performance tuning of CPQ processes, optimizing load times, resolving calculation bottlenecks, and refining pricing and discount rules.
- Support sales teams and deal desk operations by troubleshooting quoting issues, onboarding new products/SKUs, and maintaining pricing accuracy.
AI Implementation within Salesforce
- Lead the adoption of Salesforce Einstein features including Lead Scoring, Opportunity Insights, Activity Capture, and Forecasting to enhance sales and service productivity.
- Configure and deploy Agentforce agents for various use cases, defining topics, mapping actions, and ensuring security through trust layers.
- Develop prompt templates using Salesforce Prompt Builder to facilitate AI-assisted email drafting, case summarization, and record enrichment.
- Collaborate with Salesforce Data Cloud to integrate and harmonize data sources, creating unified customer profiles for AI models.
- Evaluate emerging Salesforce AI features such as Einstein Studio and Model Builder, conducting pilots and presenting business cases for adoption.
- Implement AI governance practices by managing the Einstein Trust Layer, monitoring AI outputs, and educating users on responsible AI usage.
