Job Summary
Pertaining to this role, you’d be a great fit, if you have been actively managing a team in a local Australian or UK Telecoms Operation doing phone sales or setting appointments. The incumbent will play a pivotal role in driving the company’s sales efforts and will be responsible for the initial contact with potential business clients over phone calls and personalized emails, building relationships and keeping them engaged until they are ready to be handed over to our Technology Consultants for closing. Manager - Sales Operations will be required to improve the efficiency and productivity of the sales teams and will work closely with both the marketing and sales teams to align strategies and ensure a seamless transition of leads through the sales funnel.
Key Responsibilities
- Performance & KPI management of SDR colleagues, set KPIs quarterly in advance with or without strength, set “open roles” weeks ideally months in advance.
- Provide product & process coaching as pre planned sessions, ensure correct tools to SDR colleagues, remove all “blockers” be it “tech issues” or “knowledge gaps”!
- Harness leads databases, all prospecting tools in use & as teamwork alongside marketing to prove teamwork success in such aspects.
- Continually & proactively hone brilliant strategies in CRM, software, also other tools which redefine SDR KPIs
- Set clear KPI documentation, assess KPIs weekly in what’s going well, what needs to be worked on & also activity plans for the week, also provide learning & any other calendar items always 5x working days in advance
- Foster a relaxed yet high-rewarding SDR-1st always as the given work environment, continually optimise field appointment or phone-sign-ups criterion, highly reward effectiveness & efficiencies
- Create or keep all ongoing documentation updated for QA or SDR colleagues, carry out retention of appointments or phone-sales to meet intended KPI outcomes
- Create or proactively oversee key analytics, other SDR metrices, also QA all client content to help improve immediate SDR KPIs or client interactions
- Meeting minimum 80% SDR KPIs, also keeping people accountable, disciplined reviews then documented & addressing gaps, tools to help SDRs, quality & quantity of SDR calls or emails, dedicating time to SDRs, keeping SDR motivation high through usual & non-conventional measures to be cornerstone KPIs
- Optimal yet much-needed KPI circa 15X SDRs & 120x Sit & Qualified Appointments, these KPIs do remain however subject to change at short notice
Pre-requisites
- Minimum 2 years' experience managing a team in a local Aussie/UK Telecoms related operation doing phone sales or appointment setting.
- Be able to demonstrate impeccable, top-notch English & communication skills
- Proven experience in managing and leading a high-performing SDR team for small to mid-sized SaaS companies.
- Strong leadership and people-build skills.
- Excellent communication and coach skills in a fast-paced environment
- Results-oriented with a track record of achieving and exceeding KPIs
- Did well academically, can exhibit genuine passion for sales, technology, people.
