Job Summary: 

We are looking for an experienced ICT and Networking professional to oversee and manage all aspects of our Information and Communication Technology (ICT) operations, both client & internal. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operations of our ICT infrastructure, including hardware, software, prevailing networks, & related systems. The incumbent will work closely with all other departments to identify and implement tech advancements that ringfence a fast-growing operation, & soaring efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Support day to day operations of all related ICT and networking functions both client & internal
• Develop new and implement existing ICT policies and procedures.
• Meet the ambitious cyber security targets for client sites or internal
• Coordinate with other departments to identify and plug tech loose ends.
• Create seamless maintenance both continuous & periodic ICT infrastructure, including hardware, software, and wider networks.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations back in Britain, & also locally in Kolkata always
• Act as a point of contact and escalation for wider colleagues, and always be accountable for overall success
• Adjust to stringent SLA environments & colleague satisfaction goals
• Manage growing relationships with external vendors and stakeholders.
• Be an advocate and a champion for the potential of a modern ICT infrastructure, champion emerging technologies, improve internal infrastructure & knowledge base, play an instrumental role in meeting customer experience goals.
• Acquire learning in tech planning, & internal product & processes certified as Level 2
• Specific focus on 5 days ahead planning in internal items or client tickets
• Augment existing disaster recovery and business continuity plans or develop new.
• Designing specifications for establishing security in the networks and protecting vulnerable databases.
• Be a champion in the Microsoft & wider networking community ecosystem through & through
  
  

Pre-requisites

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in ICT and network management, does not have to be in a lead role but preferable.
• Strong knowledge of prevailing & all conventional ICT infrastructure, including hardware, software, and networks.
• Experience in managing a network and associated security requirements in an Infrastructure-as-a-Service environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated Networking Engineer level abilities CCNA, CCNA Security (certification is beneficial but not compulsory)
• Sound knowledge of VOIP and telephony systems, any implementation and support experience also ideal
