Job SummaryWe are looking for a highly aggressive, result-oriented Sales Engineer who can drive revenue, penetrate new accounts, and close high-value industrial deals in the valves and automation segment. The role demands a hunter mindset, strong techno-commercial acumen, and the ability to handle end-to-end B2B sales cycles across industries like Oil & Gas, Chemical, Pharma, Power, and EPC.
Key Responsibilities1. Revenue Generation & Target Ownership- Own and consistently achieve/exceed monthly & annual sales targets
- Drive order booking, revenue growth, and margin improvement
- Focus on high-value deal closures rather than just lead generation
2. New Business Development - Identify, approach, and convert new clients (OEMs, EPCs, End Users)
- Generate leads through cold calling, field visits, networking, and references
- Build a strong sales pipeline with aggressive follow-ups
3. Techno-Commercial Sales Execution- Understand customer process requirements and offer optimized valve/automation solutions
- Prepare and negotiate techno-commercial offers, pricing, and contracts
- Drive discussions on specifications, deviations, and value engineering
4. Client Engagement & Relationship Management- Develop relationships with key decision-makers (Purchase, Projects, Maintenance, Consultants)
- Conduct technical presentations, product demos, and solution discussions
- Ensure repeat business and long-term account growth
5. Order Closure & Payment Follow-Up- Take complete ownership from enquiry → proposal → negotiation → order closure → payment collection
- Ensure timely payment follow-ups and credit control discipline
6. Market Intelligence & Competitive Strategy- Track competitor pricing, product positioning, and market trends
- Identify new application areas and industry opportunities
- Provide actionable insights to improve sales strategy and product positioning
