Job Description: Product Trainer (Anatomy & Physiology Specialist)
- Location: Mumbai (Corporate Office / Regional Training Hub)
- CTC: Up to ₹6,00,000 Per Annum (Fixed + Performance Incentives)
- Experience: 2–5 Years in Pharmaceutical Sales Training, Scientific Execution, or as a Senior Medical Representative with an aptitude for teaching.
- Education: B.Pharm / B.Sc (Biotech, Microbiology, Life Sciences). M.Pharm or specialized training certifications are a distinct advantage.
Job Purpose
The Product Trainer will be responsible for onboarding and continuous scientific training of the field force (Medical Representatives and Area Managers). The core focus is to simplify complex medical concepts—specifically human anatomy, pathophysiology, and mechanism of action (MoA)—enabling the sales team to have credible, high-impact scientific discussions with healthcare professionals (HCPs).
Key Responsibilities
1. Scientific & Medical Training Delivery
- Conduct structured classroom and virtual training sessions on Human Anatomy, Physiology, and Pathophysiology relevant to our therapeutic segments.
- Train the field force on complex product monographs, clinical trial data, and core drug pharmacology, translating it into simple, field-ready language.
- Ensure the team thoroughly understands medical terminology to prevent miscommunication during doctor calls.
2. Content Simplification & Module Design
- Collaborate with the Medical Affairs and Product Management Teams (PMT) to convert core medical literature into high-retention visual charts, micro-learning modules, and simplified anatomy reference guides.
- Design and update training manuals, scientific assessment questionnaires, and interactive role-play scenarios.
3. Field Force Effectiveness & Role-Plays
- Drive intensive role-play evaluations focusing on detailing scientific features, handling clinical objections from clinicians, and improving core communication skills.
- Assess individual field competencies pre- and post-induction and provide structured feedback reports to Regional Sales Managers.
- Conduct occasional field-working days to evaluate the practical on-ground implementation of scientific training.
4. LMS Administration & Compliance
- Maintain accurate training matrix data, tracking attendance and test scores for all scientific batches.
- Ensure all promotional messaging guidelines taught are strictly compliant with the UCPMP and ethical pharma marketing practices.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Domain Expertise: Strong, fundamental command over human anatomy and systemic physiology (e.g., Cardiovascular, Central Nervous System, Gastrointestinal, or Metabolic systems depending on the portfolio).
- Communication: Exceptional English and Hindi presentation skills with the ability to command a room and simplify technical medical literature.
- Digital Proficiency: Comfort handling modern Learning Management Systems (LMS), basic MS PowerPoint design, and virtual delivery tools (MS Teams/Zoom).
