We are looking for a highly skilled Sales Trainer with experience in EdTech or high-performance inside sales environments. The role will focus on building strong sales capabilities, improving conversion rates, and driving performance across sales teams.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in training inside sales teams, handling objection handling frameworks, and improving sales closures.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver sales training programs for inside sales and field sales teams.
- Train teams on sales techniques, objection handling, negotiation, and closing strategies.
- Conduct onboarding training programs for new sales hires.
- Monitor and improve conversion rates and sales performance metrics.
- Conduct call audits, mock sessions, and role plays to enhance sales effectiveness.
- Develop sales scripts, training modules, and playbooks.
- Identify skill gaps and implement targeted training interventions.
- Work closely with sales leadership to align training with revenue goals.
- Conduct regular refresher training and performance coaching sessions.
Preferred Background
Candidates from the following will be highly preferred:
- EdTech companies (Byju’s, Unacademy, upGrad, Vedantu, Simplilearn, PhysicsWallah, etc.)
- Experience in inside sales / academic counselling training
- Exposure to high-volume sales environments
Mandatory Requirements
- Experience as a Sales Trainer / L&D Trainer
- Strong expertise in inside sales training and conversion improvement
- Hands-on experience in objection handling, sales pitch building, and closing techniques
- Experience in training large sales teams
