Client Relationship Management
- Build and manage institutional client relationships (Domestic MFs, HFs, AMCs, pension funds, PSU/private banks, asst managers and other large investors ).
- Act as key contact delivering personalized advice and disseminating firm research, investment ideas, and market strategies.
- Provide timely market insights, trading ideas and trend updates.
Trading
- Monitor and manage client trading activity, ensuring accurate and timely execution of orders.
- Advise clients on market liquidity, trade strategies, and optimal pricing.
- Leverage market knowledge to identify and execute profitable trading opportunities for clients.
Risk Management & Compliance
- Ensure all trading activities comply with internal risk management protocols and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant market regulations, compliance standards, and best practices. o Business Development
- Identify and develop new institutional client relationships.
- Drive new sales opportunities within the institutional segment to expand firm’s market presence.
- Source and execute block trades to meet client needs and enhance liquidity solutions.
Collaboration
- Partner with the sales team to grow the institutional client base and revenue streams.
- Work closely with internal trading desks, research teams, and other departments to deliver best-in-class client service.
- Provide actionable feedback on client needs, product offerings, and market conditions to internal stakeholders.
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of in-house trading algorithms to improve execution efficiency and strategy performance.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in finance, Economics, Business, or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in institutional sales trading, preferably at a broking firm or investment bank.
- Strong understanding of equities, derivatives, and related financial products.
- Demonstrated success in managing and growing institutional client relationships.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Bloomberg, Omnesys, and trading algorithms.
- Expertise in block sourcing, and algorithmic trading development
- High proficiency with trading platforms, financial software, and market data tools.
