Job Description – Sales Trader (Stock Market)
Role: Sales Trader
Department: Equity / Capital Markets
Key Responsibilities:
Execute buy/sell orders in equity and derivatives for clients.
Provide market updates, trading ideas, and investment insights.
Acquire new clients and maintain relationships with existing clients.
Achieve brokerage and revenue targets.
Cross-sell financial products like mutual funds, bonds, MLD's, PMS, etc.
Monitor market trends and inform clients about opportunities.
Requirements:
Graduate in Commerce/Finance or related field.
NISM certification preferred (NISM SERIES 8).
Good knowledge of stock markets and trading platforms.
Strong communication and sales skills.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Client acquisition numbers
Brokerage revenue generated
Client retention rate
Trading volume handled
Cross-selling of financial products
