Sales / Technical Support Engineer (Laser, Photonics, Imaging Systems)

Position Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and technically strong professional for Sales & Technical Support activities in advanced scientific instrumentation and imaging technologies.
The ideal candidate should have experience in handling customer discussions, technical demonstrations, application support, and sales activities related to advanced optical and imaging systems.
Key Product Lines
The candidate should have experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Lasers & Laser Systems
- Photonics
- Optics / Optomechanics
- High-Speed Cameras
- Hyperspectral Imaging Systems
- SWIR / NIR Imaging
- X-Ray Imaging Systems
- CCD / CMOS Camera Technologies
Key Responsibilities
- Handle technical sales and business development activities for scientific instrumentation
- Understand customer applications and recommend suitable technical solutions
- Conduct technical presentations, demonstrations, and product discussions
- Provide application support and customer training
- Coordinate with OEMs, principals, and internal teams for technical and commercial activities
- Generate and manage sales opportunities from research institutes, laboratories, and industrial customers
- Support installation, troubleshooting, and after-sales activities when required
- Prepare quotations, technical documents, and sales reports
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electronics, Physics, Photonics, Instrumentation, Optics, Mechanical, or related disciplines
- 3–8 years of experience in technical sales, application support, or business development in scientific instrumentation
- Good understanding of optics, photonics, lasers, imaging systems, or related technologies
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Willingness to travel for customer meetings and demonstrations
- Ability to independently manage customer interactions and technical discussions
