Job Description – Sales Executive
Position: Sales Executive

Location: As per assigned territory
ObjectiveThe Sales Executive will be responsible for achieving sales targets and expanding market share within the assigned territory. The primary objective of this role is to develop and execute effective sales strategies that drive business growth, increase revenue, and strengthen market presence.
Key ResponsibilitiesFunctional Responsibilities- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve assigned sales targets.
- Guide and coordinate with Market Growth Representatives (MGRs) to ensure achievement of sales goals.
- Conduct market research and analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for growth.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of sales strategies with overall business objectives.
Financial Responsibilities- Manage sales budgets and forecasts to ensure accurate revenue projections.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance, identifying areas for improvement.
- Assist in developing and implementing pricing strategies to maximize revenue and profitability.
Organizational Responsibilities- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and stakeholders.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure effective coordination and communication.
- Identify potential risks or challenges that may affect sales performance and take corrective actions.
People-related Responsibilities- Support the development of a high-performing sales team.
- Assist in organizing training and development initiatives to enhance sales capabilities.
- Provide regular feedback and support performance evaluation processes for the team.
Reporting Structure- Supervises: Market Growth Representatives and Account Developers
- Direct Reports: No
Business Knowledge- Knowledge of Sales & Distribution, preferably within an FMCG company.
Job Requirements- Qualification: Graduation or MBA in a relevant field
- Experience: 4 – 8 years of experience in sales, preferably in FMCG or related industries
- Travel Requirement: Extensive travel within the designated territory (approximately 80% travel in a month)
