Role Description The Sales Support – Freight Forwarding role is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai. This role supports the sales and operations teams by preparing freight quotations, coordinating with carriers and internal departments, and maintaining accurate records for export and forwarding activities. Daily tasks include handling customer inquiries, tracking shipments, updating status reports, and ensuring timely communication with clients regarding freight transportation. The role also involves preparing documentation, assisting in follow-ups on leads, and contributing to smooth end-to-end freight forwarding operations.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in Freight Forwarding and Freight Transportation.
- Candidates should possess skills in Forwarding and Export processes.
- Candidates should possess strong Customer Service skills for client interaction and support.
- Relevant experience in logistics, shipping, or international trade is beneficial.
- Strong communication, coordination, and organizational skills are required.
- Ability to work accurately with documentation and data in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with common office software and basic reporting tools is preferred.
- A diploma or degree in logistics, supply chain, commerce, or a related field is an advantage.
