Role Description The Sales Support role in Bengaluru is a full-time, on-site position that provides operational and administrative support to the sales team. Responsibilities include preparing quotations, maintaining customer records, processing orders, and ensuring timely follow-up on inquiries and leads. The role involves coordinating with internal departments such as operations, finance, and customer service to ensure accurate information flow and smooth execution of logistics services. Sales Support team members monitor customer satisfaction, help resolve service issues, and contribute to reporting and analysis to support sales targets. The position requires proactive communication with customers and colleagues, attention to detail, and a service-oriented approach.
Qualifications
- Strong Analytical Skills to interpret sales data, track performance, and support decision-making.
- Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction focus, with the ability to handle inquiries, resolve issues, and build long-term relationships.
- Effective Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Experience or familiarity with Sales Operations, including order processing, quotation preparation, and CRM or sales systems.
- Relevant education in business, logistics, commerce, or a related field; prior experience in logistics or freight forwarding is an advantage.
- Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel and Outlook) and comfort working with digital tools and databases.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural team and adapt to global business practices.
