About the role: We are seeking a Sales Specialist – Red Hat Portfolio to drive growth across Red Hat solutions including Ansible, OpenShift, Enterprise Linux and 3Scale API Management. The role involves managing the full sales cycle, collaborating with technical teams, and building long-term customer relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for sales of Red Hat Ansible, Red Hat OpenShift, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Red Hat 3Scale API, etc.
- Creating sales opportunities in both new and existing customer accounts through well planned demand generation efforts.
- Responsible for selling both product and support of Red Hat portfolio of products.
- Capable of coordinating between different teams like Pre-sales and Post-sales for support needed while positioning Red Hat products to customers.
- Coordinate with customers and generate requirements with the help of pre-sales by giving demos and POCs.
- Must be able to close the sales cycle – from opportunity identification to order closure.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in positioning and selling Red Hat products and support.
- Owns activities like development of new strategies for generation of sales opportunities.
- Knowledge of Red Hat products portfolio for positioning the right products.
- Presentation skills to position solutions to customers and position Red Hat products and solutions along with their business value and capabilities.
- Understands the competitive positioning and product capabilities of the Red Hat portfolio.
- Ability to drive growth beyond initial sales and capable of scaling existing engagements to long-term business relationships.
- Any accreditations on Red Hat product portfolio.
