Role Overview:
We are looking for a Sales specialist who will work on Upwork and will be looking for clients for our agency, and write proposals. Your primary responsibility is to find, filter, and win new projects on Upwork. You will be the "front line" of our growth, identifying high-quality job postings and writing winning proposals to secure new clients for our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Upwork Prospecting: Daily monitoring of Upwork job feeds to find relevant high-ticket leads.
- Proposal Writing: Crafting highly personalized, non-generic cover letters that stand out to clients.
- Profile Management: Optimizing the company’s Upwork profile and agency account to maintain a high Job Success Score (JSS).
- Client Communication: Handling initial chats and "vetting" clients before booking them for a call with our senior team.
- Lead Tracking: Maintaining a simple sheet of bids sent, responses received, and conversion rates.
Requirements:
- Experience: Exactly 1–2 years of experience specifically managing Upwork Sales/Bidding.
- Platform Knowledge: Deep understanding of Upwork connects, bidding strategies, and how to spot "quality" clients vs. "time-wasters."
- English Fluency: Superior written English skills (your proposals must be flawless).
- Target-Driven: You are motivated by winning contracts and seeing the "Hired" notification.
