Role Description The Sales Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Kolkata. This role involves actively engaging with customers, explaining product features and benefits, and supporting them in making informed purchasing decisions. The Sales Specialist will manage in-store sales activities, follow up on leads, maintain relationships with key customers, and assist with merchandising and inventory checks to ensure product availability and presentation. The role includes tracking sales performance, preparing basic reports, and collaborating with management to support sales campaigns and promotions. This position may also involve participating in product training sessions and providing feedback to help improve customer experience and sales processes.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication skills, including clear verbal and written interaction with customers and team members.
- Customer Service and Training abilities to guide customers, address inquiries, and support product knowledge development.
- Sales and Sales Management skills to drive revenue, meet targets, and manage sales activities effectively.
- Basic knowledge of retail operations, including inventory handling and point-of-sale processes.
- Ability to work on-site in Kolkata and maintain a professional, customer-focused attitude.
- Prior experience in retail, FMCG, or food and wellness products is beneficial.
- Comfort using digital tools for sales tracking and communication.
- Minimum high school diploma; a degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is an advantage.
